ITBP honours 5-year-old Nawang Namgyal , who won the internet

A 5-year-old boy, Nawang Namgyal, a lower kindergarten student became an internet sensation in October after the Indo Tibetian Border Police (ITBP) shared a video of him saluting jawans to command went viral with his enthusiasm and cuteness. He is from one of the border village in Ladakh’s Chushul area. Now, the ITBP shared another video of the same boy. In this latest clip shared on the official account of ITBP, the boy is seen wearing a special uniform and being taught marching in the correct manner. He is enthusiastically following the instructions and saluting in an official manner. After his video went viral in October when he was saluting the troops while passing by the station, depicted ‘high josh’. They have now honoured the boy with a custom made ITBP uniform, and filmed him doing drill at the camp. This video, shared with the title “Happy and inspiring again!”, is also winning hearts on the internet. In the previous video, which was taken by an ITBP officer, shows the boy saluting the soldiers who correct his posture and stance. An officer giving commands to do like this, not seen in the video, can be heard. To this, Nawang Namgyal responds enthusiastically to earn a reassuring “Yeah!” from the officer. The ITBP had shared this clip and marked it high on “josh”.
