Kolkata: Election code of conduct was deliberately violated. Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu should be removed from the cabinet by Governor CV Ananda Bose.
The Raj Bhavan has asked the government to take action after the meeting with the politicians at Gour Banga University. The governor, who is also the chancellor, stated that the action of the minister who held the meeting in the premises of the institute brought dishonor to the university system.
The governor directed the government to take strict action against him in this regard. It is also suggested that Basu should be removed from the cabinet.
