THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: We do not give religion to any terrorist. Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai says we call terrorists as terrorists. He also said that the campaign of the opposition that the BJP is an anti-minority party is baseless and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a leader who has always stood for the minorities.
The Christian priest trapped in Afghanistan was brought back using all possible means as a result of Modi’s efforts. Annamalai pointed out that the acceptance of Modi in the West Asian countries, where India’s minorities are the majority, is huge. Annamalai said, “It doesn’t matter if you are a Christian or a Muslim, you just think that you are an Indian.”
CAA does not take away the citizenship of anyone. No government can do that. Instead it is a law that confers citizenship. Even extreme Islamic countries do not follow triple talaq. Still, how dare the Congress say it will bring back triple talaq, he asked. He added that all this shows the minority appeasement policy of the Congress.
The opposition has created a wall of misconception in front of the people that BJP is an anti-minority party. BJP is doing strong campaign against this. Annamalai said that the wall will be demolished in the coming years.
