Death threat to Prime Minister; Anonymous phone message reached the NIA office in Chennai

Chennai: Death threat against Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be killed during election campaign. The anonymous phone message reached the NIA office in Chennai. The cybercrime department of the Chennai police has started an investigation into the incident.

An anonymous phone call came at the NIA office on Wednesday night around 9.30 pm. Officials clarified that after threatening to kill the Prime Minister during the election campaign, the phone call was immediately disconnected. The threat was in Hindi. After the initial investigation, it was revealed that the phone call was from Madhya Pradesh. An investigation into the incident is underway.
