Wayanad Landslide: PM Modi to Visit on Saturday

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the landslide area in Wayanad on Saturday. It is reported that the flight from Delhi will reach Kannur around 11.20 am. From there he will go to Kalpetta by helicopter.

Aerial surveillance will be conducted in the disaster area. A visit will also be made to the relief camp. The Prime Minister will spend three hours in the disaster affected area. After that, it will return to Delhi from Kannur airport at 3.45 pm.

The Prime Minister’s security department held talks with the state police. The SPG, which is in charge of Prime Minister’s security, is conducting inspections in the disaster-affected areas. It is reported that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Governor Arif Mohammad Khan from Kannur will join the Prime Minister during the visit.
