KR Sachidanandan aka Sachy, the director, and screenwriter of Malayalam films, has passed away. The 48-year-old director breathed his last on Thursday. Cardiac arrest was the cause of his death. Sachy was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Thrissur. According to doctors, KR Schidanandan underwent hip replacement surgery, after which he suffered cardiac arrest and died a few hours later.
Colleagues of KR Sachidanandan alias Saiki associated with Malayalam films have mourned his death. It is also being told that Sachy also had a brain disease. He was going to undergo his hip replacement surgery for the second time during which he underwent cardiac arrest. KR Sachidanandan has directed and scripted many great films. He has directed films like ‘Chettayees’, ‘Sherlock Toms’, ‘Driving License’. In the year 2015, he made his debut in the direction of film Anarkali.
