Alappuzha: One person died in an accident involving an ambulance car. The patient who was in the ambulance died. The accident took place near Cherthala SN College on the national highway. Udayan (64) died in SL Puram Kalam. It is reported that three people who were with the ambulance were injured.
The accident involved a car going to Alappuzha and an ambulance going to Cherthala. Ratheesh and Srikuttan, who were in the ambulance, were admitted to the Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
Meanwhile, there was an accident this morning when a KSRTC bus and a pickup van collided at Ankukunn in Wayanad. 13 people including the pickup driver were injured. The accident happened at eight o’clock this morning. The injured have been shifted to Mananthavadi Medical College Hospital. No one’s injuries are reported to be serious.
