New Delhi: The supporters of the gangster, who came out of jail, prepared a grand welcome. Later, the police arrested the gangster again. After his release from prison, his supporters greeted him with a celebratory rally. After its video went viral on social media, the gangster was jailed again.
The incident took place in Nashik, Maharashtra. Harshad Patankar, accused in several cases, was released from jail on July 23. After this, his followers
started rallying in the streets. About fifteen two-wheelers were lined up in the rally from Bathel Nagar to Ambedkar Chowk.
In the video, vehicles line up and Harshad Patankar greets the crowd through the sunroof. He was arrested for holding an illegal rally and causing trouble. Apart from Harshad, six more aides have been arrested by the police. Harshad is accused in many cases of attempted murder, trespass, theft and others.
