Moscow: Drone attack in Kazan, Russia. Eight drones targeted tall buildings. Several high-rise buildings were reportedly attacked. A serial drone (UAV) attacked three large high-rise buildings in the city of Kazan. It is reported that the attack will cause extensive damage. However, Russia claimed that it destroyed one drone.
Video emerged of flames and smoke rising from buildings. Russia accused Ukraine of being behind the drone attack. The Sputnik news agency reported that one of the drones was shot down by Russian air defenses.
According to information coming out of Russia, there are a lot of people living in these buildings. Therefore, the possibility of loss of life in this attack is not ruled out. However, no information has been released regarding any deaths so far.
Nearby high-rise buildings have also been evacuated as a precaution due to the possibility of another attack. At the same time, flight services have been suspended at the airport in the Russian city of Kazan.
