Indian chess prodigy D Gukesh has been congratulated by billionaire Elon Musk, who is also a member of the upcoming Donald Trump cabinet. Musk described Gukesh as the pride of the world and a shining star of youthful aspirations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar also praised Gukesh’s victory. “I am living my dream,” Gukesh said on Thursday. The young champion shared how his aspirations ignited during the 2013 World Championship match between his idol Viswanathan Anand and Magnus Carlsen.
