A Ex-army security guard was brutally beaten up in Thalassery. The accused is in police custody. Naufal, a native of Kadavathur, was arrested by the police under the non-bailable section. In Thalassery, Pradeep Kumar, a security guard at Tele Hospital, was brutally beaten up in Templegate.
The car driver who reached the hospital was asked to move the car back a little to give way to the autorickshaw that was going out with the patient, which led to the brutal beating. Unprecedented violence took place when there was a blockade in the hospital premises following rains. Pradeep’s leg bone is broken. Pradeep has also been injured in the face and has been admitted to Thalassery Tele Hospital.
In connection with the incident, Thalassery Police arrested Naufal at Kadavathur Mundhod Kattil House. IPC against accused who took the statement of Pradeep who was brutally beaten. Sections 341, 323, 326,294 and Section 4 Hospitals Act 2012 were imposed. The accused was remanded for two weeks by the Thalassery Judicial First Class Magistrate.
