Hospital Clash Kills Hamas Internal Security Officer, IDF Captures 80 Terrorists

Tel Aviv: The Israel Defense Forces killed an internal security officer of Hamas during a clash inside a hospital. About 80 terrorists were arrested from Gazai. The head of Hamas’ Internal Security Operations Directorate, Faiq Mabhouh, was killed in the encounter.

Hamas terrorists led by Faiq Mabhoud reached the hospital premises with the aim of attacking the Israeli soldiers. This move was foiled by the army. Several weapons and explosives have been seized from near the place where he was killed.

The IDF said he was the one who coordinated the activities of Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. The encounter took place at Shifa Hospital last day. The Israeli army raided Gaza’s largest hospital, Shifa, on the basis of intelligence that Hamas terrorists had gathered at the hospital.

When the terrorists came to know the presence of the soldiers, they opened fire from inside the hospital. An Israeli soldier was also killed in the attack. Israel also said that the operation was completed in a manner that did not cause as much trouble to the patients of the hospital as to the systems inside it.
