Human Resource Development Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ released a booklet for students to use the net safely to take online education in lockdown due to corona virus. This booklet has been prepared jointly by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and UNESCO. In this booklet it has been told that the students should keep in mind while using the net and what things should not be used so that they can use the Internet in a safe way during their studies.

While releasing the booklet, Dr. Nishank said that teachers and students across the country have taken the path of online studies during the lockdown. Therefore, now students need to know about cyber attack crime etc. while using the net and for this this booklet will work to spread awareness among them. He said that this booklet will be beneficial not only to the students but also to the teachers and parents. There are more than seven crore school students in the country who are aged between five and 11 years. 500 million people in the country use the Internet.
