It is reported that Padmaja Venugopal, who left the Congress and joined the BJP before the elections, will be considered for the post of Governor of Chhattisgarh. The BJP leadership unofficially says that a decision will be made as soon as the election results are out. Padmaja said that she heard about this from many sources but she did not get any confirmation. I am sure BJP will do good things for me. Padmaja added that there will be no kicking and stabbing from the old party.
Biswabhushan Harichandan is currently the Governor of Chhattisgarh. He is stepping down due to health reasons. A seat or a good status in the Lok Sabha elections for Padmaja was the BJP’s offer. A promise made.
