Pope Francis’ health condition is extremely critical

The Vatican has announced that Pope Francis’ health condition is extremely critical. He experienced two episodes of respiratory distress, following which he was placed on artificial respiration. Severe infection and mucus buildup have worsened his condition.

Pope Francis was admitted to Rome’s Gemelli Hospital on February 14 due to bronchitis. He later developed pneumonia. While undergoing treatment, the Pope had earlier urged believers to pray for him. He also expressed gratitude to the doctors, healthcare workers at Gemelli Hospital, and those who had sent messages of support.
