Pope in Critical Condition Due to Pneumonia

Pope Francis, who is undergoing treatment at Gemelli Hospital in Rome, is in a critical condition as his health has further deteriorated. Doctors have confirmed that he is suffering from severe pneumonia affecting both lungs. The Pope was admitted to the hospital following acute respiratory distress.

Medical examinations have revealed that multiple viruses and bacteria have infected his lungs. He was initially hospitalized last Friday due to bronchitis.

Pope Francis had part of his lung removed in his youth following a severe lung infection. As a result, he is prone to bronchitis, especially during the winter season.
