The peace agreement between the UAE and Israel will be signed at the White House. The agreement will be signed on September 15 . UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will arrive in the United States for the event. Leaders of both countries are arriving in the United States at the invitation of US President Donald Trump. The UAE is establishing full diplomatic relations with Israel during the Trump-mediated talks.

Earlier, the defense ministers of the two countries had held telephone talks. For the first time in history, the ministers of the two countries held talks. The UAE is becoming the third Arab country to establish ties with Israel after 70 years. The UAE-Israel diplomatic agreement announced on August 13 is expected to set a new axis in confronting Iran and Sunni Islamist extremists in the Middle East.

Netanyahu confirmed his participation on Twitter, with the Israeli leader saying he is “proud to leave for Washington next week at the invitation of President Trump and to participate in the historic ceremony at the White House on the establishment of a peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates”.
