Kannur: A middle-aged man was found hanging dead in the CPM local committee office. 53-year-old Raghu, a lottery seller, died. The incident took place at the Kannur Kuttur Local Committee office.
The dead body was hanging from a hook on the roof. It is suspected that the suicide was due to family problems. Locals say that Raghu sometimes stays overnight in the building that serves as the CPM office. The body was shifted to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the teacher was found hanging in the bedroom of the house. Sajini (44) died in Murkathodi, Pallipuram Paruthur. Sajini’s daughter was found overdosed on pills. The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon.
Sajini’s daughter saw them hanging. He was immediately rushed to Pattambi Taluk Hospital but died. Then the daughter was admitted to a private hospital in Pattambi as she had overdosed on pills. The police concluded that theirs was also a suicide attempt
