Leona is one of the favorite stars of Malayalam. The actor is active on social media and shares all his details with his fans. Now, in an interview given to Nana, the actor has opened up about his illness.
When asked why she shared on social media that she had a condition like endometriosis, Leona’s response was as follows.
‘This disease is quite painful. Some days you just don’t want to throw up. The one in a million symptom that comes out the same is severe pain during periods. My post is aimed at people who still believed that taking a painkiller would make it go away. The thing that made me the happiest was that I was able to give knowledge to the people,’ says Leona.
Leona had previously spoken about the disease called endometriosis and the days when the disease was difficult. The actress shared that she was undergoing Ayurvedic treatment as part of this illness, became a vegetarian and could not eat any sweets or milk and survived that year and a half by eating rice and nuts.
