“I’ve never read a poem that is so repugnant in my life,” An attempt at communalism through poetry, Kaithapram against Satchidanandan

Poet and lyricist Kaitapram Damodaran is in the arena against Sahitya Akademi president K Sachidanandan. He demanded that the culture minister should be ready to remove Satchidanandan from the post of chairman. He accused Satchidanandan of trying to stir up casteism through poetry.

‘Isn’t there that incident where made fun of thambi chettan?I will tell you the solution. Five years ago I saw a poem by Satchidanand. Legs sticking out of the long coffin. Radha recognized that it was Krishna because it was blue.”I’ve never read a poem that is so repugnant in my life”
It is enough to give a solution to the current Kerala song. I am saying that it should be given and resolved.’ Kaitapram said.
