Sabarimala was opened today for the monthly poojas, and devotees flocked

Sabarimala Sri Dharmashasta temple grounds opened for Idavamasa poojas. At five o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, in the presence of the temple Tantri Kantarar Mahesh Mohanar, the temple chief PN Mahesh Nambootiri opened the temple shrine and lit the lamps. Later, the temples of Ganapati and Nagar sub-gods were also opened and lights were lit. Then, Tantri distributed Vibhuti Prasad to the devotees.

Ayyappa’s devotees with their Erumudi Kettu together climbed up the eighteenth step to meet Ayyen. Malikappuram Melshanthi Murali Namboothiri opened the Malikappuram temple premises and distributed turmeric powder prasad to the devotees.

Nada is open from 1st to 5th. There will be special poojas on May 18. Those who register through virtual queue will get a chance for darshan on these days. After completing five days of poojas, the temple will be closed by singing Harivarasanam on Tirunada 19 at 10 pm.
