Air India Express services will not operate as usual today; Five services from Kannur have been cancelled

Air India Express services remained suspended today despite hasty steps being taken to resolve the crisis following the strike by employees. Air India Express has canceled five services from Kannur. Sharjah, Dubai, Dammam, Riyadh and Abu Dhabi services have been cancelled.

Air India says that even if the employees have called off the strike, it is not feasible to resume full services immediately. Five out of ten services have been canceled due to not being able to complete pre-flight preparations.

Air India Express services may not run as normal even as employees call off strike. Air India Express released a press release saying that the company is trying to restore the services as soon as possible. According to the news release, those who have to travel today will reach the airport only after checking and making sure that the service is available.

About 180 services were suspended in two days due to the strike of the employees. The consensus was reached in the discussion held yesterday under the chairmanship of the Labor Commission. The company is ready to withdraw the action of dismissing the strikers. It has also been assured that immediate action will be taken on the demands of the strikers.
