Vinod was generally known in the film industry as Malayalam cinema’s own TTE.

Vinod is a person who has acted in the movies of many stars of Malayalam cinema like Mammootty, Mohanlal and Dulquer Salmaan. He was interested in acting since his school days and was a classmate of director Ashiq Abu. Aashiq Abu-Mammootty made his film debut with the film Gangster, playing the lead in Mammootty’s gangster gang.

Vinod then acted in many films like Manglish, How Old Are You, Achchadin, Rajamma@Yahoo, Peruchazhi, Mr. Fraud, Cousins, Vikramadityan, and Pulimurugan. Vinod’s permanent residence was in Ernakulam.
