A young man who was undergoing treatment died after being injured in a two-wheeler collision in Varkala on onam . Vishnu, a native of Janardanapuram, died. Three teenagers died instantly in the accident. The accident took place on Sunday night at Varkala Kurakkanni junction.
The accident took place at Varkala Kurakkanni junction at 11.15 pm. The deceased have been identified as Anandabhas alias Achu, natives of Varkala parish Thottumukham, Adityan and Jishnu, native of Varkala Punnamood. Vishnu, who died today, was one of the two seriously injured. Vishnu and the second injured were admitted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.
The police said that there were serious violations of law in the incident. There were three passengers on a bike that collided. The second bike, which was carrying two people, did not have a headlight. The police said that both the bikes were speeding.
