Bomb Threat Received at Kerala High Court; Security Tightened

Ernakulam: A bomb threat message was received via email at the Kerala High Court today, prompting heightened security around the court premises in Kochi. The email arrived around noon, triggering a swift response from the police.

Following the alert, police conducted a thorough search of the High Court building and its surroundings but found nothing suspicious. Nevertheless, police surveillance has been intensified in and around the High Court. An investigation has been launched to trace the source of the email. Since the email came on a day the court was in session, authorities are treating the incident with utmost seriousness.

Additional police personnel have been deployed, and the public has been instructed to immediately report any suspicious activity to the authorities.

Similar bomb threats were also reported recently at RDO offices in Thrissur and Palakkad. In Thrissur, the threat mentioned that the Ayyanthole RDO office would be bombed. However, after thorough checks, police found no evidence of explosives at either location
