Thiruvananthapuram: The museum police have registered a case against actor Biju in the incident of drunken driving and hitting a scooter passenger at midnight yesterday.
The complaint is that a scooter passenger was hit and run over by a drunk driver at Vellayambalam, Thiruvananthapuram. Baiju was taken into custody and released on bail by the station. The scooter coming from Kavadiyar side hit the passenger. Baiju’s daughter was also in the car.
The case is that he caused an accident by driving at high speed while drunk. Baiju was taken to the hospital for medical examination but refused to give a blood sample. Then the doctor handed over the medical report to the police stating that he smelled of alcohol and was not ready for examination. Baiju responded to the media, who were filming the scenes, that the car will hit when it stops and that he will not be afraid of any of this.
