Police registered a case against the lorry owner Manaf in the cyber attack on Arjun’s family. The case was registered by the Chevayur police. The case is on the complaint of Arjun’s sister Anju. Efforts were made to create a community. The case is under sections including summons. The case is under sections 192,120 (o) of Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita and Kerala Police Act. According to the FIR, Manaf took advantage of the mood and emotions of the family.
In a press conference held on Wednesday, Arjun’s family had alleged that Manaf and diver Ishwar Malpe were using Arjun’s disappearance for profit through YouTube. Arjun’s brother-in-law Jithin, wife Krishnapriya, father Preman, mother Sheela, sister Anju, Abhirami and brother Abhijit met the media.
However, Manaf denied the allegations of collecting money on Arjun’s behalf and said that it was not wrong that he started the YouTube channel. Manaf told the media that he started the channel to bring the search for Arjun to the attention of the people and his aim was to reach at least one person.
