A group disguised as Sunni madrasa students is suspected of vandalizing a Bharat Mata image revered by many in India. The CCTV footage from Paruthikuzhi Amachimuttil shows three individuals observing the area before one of them defaced the image with a knife. The board, installed by local RSS workers, was reportedly attacked in a premeditated act.
The incident has raised suspicions about the attackers’ true identity and intent. Poonthura Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
Responding to the incident, Hindu Aikya Vedi chief patron K.P. Sasikala Teacher condemned the act, highlighting the dangers of children being raised with divisive mindsets. She emphasized the need to address the issue with seriousness for the nation’s welfare.
