Driving tests remain suspended today, Driving school protests continue

Thiruvananthapuram: Driving tests have been suspended even today. The decision of the transport department was to conduct the test if at least one person arrives. The test boycott by the Driving Schools Association has entered its fifth day following the test reform.

At least two people made it to the test. Both returned without participating in the test. Those who appeared for the test returned after today’s date was cancelled. Kozhikode also got hold of driving test. The test at the driving school ground in Poiya under Koduvalli RTO office has been blocked till today. The protest is under the joint auspices of labor organizations except CITU.

He tried to conduct the test under police protection but was obstructed. The joint strike committee is of the stand that the test will not be allowed. Tests were stopped in the state last day. Organizations other than CITU protested yesterday. The other day, we saw a situation where those coming for the test were stopped and sent back.
