Third phase of polling; Prime Minister casts vote in Ahmedabad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast his vote in Ahmedabad when the nation was writing its verdict for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections. He exercised his right to consent by going to Nishan Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad. The Prime Minister along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah cast his vote at around 8 am.

The Prime Minister came to Gandhi Nagar constituency to cast his vote with a message that all the voters of the country should exercise their right to vote. 93 constituencies in ten states and two union territories are in the third phase.

Besides the states of Assam (4), Bihar (5), Chhattisgarh (7), Goa (2), Gujarat (25), Karnataka (14), Madhya Pradesh (8), Maharashtra (11), Uttar Pradesh (10) and West Bengal (4). Polling will also be held on Tuesday in the union territories of Dadra and Nagarhaveli (2), Daman and Diu (2).

Amit Shah, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Prahlad Joshi, Digvijay Singh, Dimple Yadav, Supriya Sule and others will be elected on Friday.
