Kochi: A fire broke out in the Thitapalli of the Chotanikara Devi temple. The fire broke out at 6.45 am. before Pantiradi Puja in the morning. The devotees were not in the temple sanctum sanctorum as Pantheeradi Puja was going on.
The fire was extinguished by the firemen and firemen and a major accident was avoided. The fire broke out while the offering was being cooked. No major damage. Chotanikara Devi Temple is the main temple of Cochin Devaswom Board.
