Kalpetta: In Wayanad Nenmeni panchayat, one person died when a garbage dump caught fire near Chullyode market. Bhaskaran died in the fire.
Garbage collected by Haritha Karma Sena and piled near the market caught fire on Monday night at eleven o’clock. Locals said that Bhaskaran was sleeping in the shed nearby.
Bhaskaran’s body was found during a search conducted by the fire rescue team from Bateri after being informed by the locals who saw the fire burning. Bhaskaranar’s charred body has been shifted to Sultanbatheri Taluk Hospital Mortuary.
