Kozhikode: Massive robbery on Yeswantpur-Kannur Express train. Passengers’ phones, jewelery and phone were stolen. The incident took place between Salem and Dharmapuri this morning.
Around 20 passengers in the AC coaches of the train were robbed. Jewelery’s kept Hand bags, Phones in the pockets of the passengers’ pants etc were lost. The robbed bags were found abandoned in the washroom of the train.
When the passengers woke up, they found out that they had been robbed. Then they got down at Salem station to file a complaint. From tracing the phone location of the passengers, it has been indicated that the robbery gang is based in Salem.
