Mission Team Confirmed that the Truck Belonged to Arjun, No Human Presence Detected

The mission team has confirmed that the truck found in the Gangavali River at Shirur in Karnataka is Arjun’s. The mission to recover Arjun’s lorry, which was washed away in the river, is in progress. An iBod drone is being flown near the river for inspection. The location and location of the truck under the river will be clear in the iBod drone inspection. However, the Navy informs that the drone may not be able to detect human presence.

If no human presence is detected the mission will be extended again. The river was searched in the morning to find the truck, but due to the strong current, the Navy divers did not go into the water. The Navy informed that the undercurrent in the Gangavali river is hampering the mission.

The current in the river is such that the steel hook cannot be lowered and hooked to the lorry. Even the steel hooks could not reach the bottom of the river because of the strong current.

Meanwhile, the wood in the lorry of Arjun, a Malayali driver who went missing in the landslide, was found. Four pieces of wood were found 12 km away from the landslide site.
