The High Court has rejected the bail plea of Anand Kumar, the accused in the half-price fraud case, stating that health issues are often raised only when high-profile individuals are arrested.
The single bench clarified that bail cannot be granted to Sai Gram Trust Chairman Anand Kumar on health grounds, as adequate medical facilities are available in jail itself.
The bail plea of Anand Kumar and co-accused Ananthakrishnan has been postponed to tomorrow for detailed arguments.
