Thiruvananthapuram: A warning has been issued for continued high temperatures across the state today. As a precautionary measure, a yellow alert has been declared in seven districts Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod.
Due to the combination of high temperatures and humid air, there is a possibility of discomfort caused by the weather. The Meteorological Department has advised the public to remain cautious and avoid direct exposure to sunlight between 11 AM and 3 PM.
Meanwhile, due to the phenomenon of “Kallakkadal” (swell surge), the National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) has warned of possible coastal intrusion along the Kerala coast due to high waves until 11:30 PM tonight.
