Houthi attack on cargo ship, kills three sailors

The number of cargo ship crews killed in the Houthi attack in the Red Sea has risen to three. Four people were injured. Three of them are in serious condition. Information about the dead and injured has not been released. It is reported that there were 20 people on board and one of them was an Indian. But no confirmation has been received in this regard either.

The ship ‘True Confidence’ owned by Greece was attacked yesterday. It was operating for the Caribbean country of Barbados. Although the Houthis have attacked the ship before in the Red Sea, this is the first time the crew has died. The ship sustained significant fire damage following the attack.

The Houthis have been attacking ships since last November in support of Gaza. On Monday, the Indian Navy rescued the MSC Skye-2, which was hit by a Houthi missile. All 23 crew including 13 Indians are safe.
