India has rejected Chinese protests and claims over Ladakh. India also warned China not to interfere in the country’s internal affairs. The foreign ministry said China had no legal right to interfere in the Ladakh issue. China has been protesting against the construction of 44 bridges in Ladakh by India. China has blamed India’s construction on the Ladakh border for escalating tensions on the border. China’s response was to establish that they had a right to Ladakh. ‘The Union Territories of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir will remain an integral part of India.
