India has rejected Pakistan’s campaign to resume talks between India and Pakistan soon. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has stated that it has not even considered any bilateral talks with Pakistan on providing assistance and encouragement to terrorists. India has rejected Pakistan’s attempt to mislead other countries ahead of the FATF meeting. India has made it clear that Pakistan is spreading things that did not happen and were not planned.

At the same time, India informed the FATF member states of its position. No bilateral talks have taken place with Pakistan since December 2015. India has made it clear that bilateral relations will not last as long as the country supports terrorism. The FATF will discuss whether to blacklist Pakistan in October 2123.

Pakistan, which is on the FATF’s gray list, has not yet fully completed its proposed counterterrorism measures. The Asia-Pacific Group had estimated that Pakistan had complied with only two of the 40 recommendations. It is in this context that Pakistan’s false propaganda that the situation is preparing for talks with India. Imran Khan’s security adviser Moid Yousaf had claimed this to some media. It was against this backdrop that India completely rejected it.
