An auto driver who was taken into police custody collapsed and died in Kannur. Suraj (47), a native of Chirakal, died. Suraj was taken into custody by the Kannur town police last night.
Kannur town police took Sooraj, an auto driver, into custody from Pallikunn last night. According to the police, they reached the place after the locals called after they entered the house and created a commotion. It is reported that Suraj collapsed as soon as he was brought to the station. The police also said that he was drunk.
