A youth named Binoy, a native of Nedumangad Uzhamalaikal, was arrested in the incident in which a girl, a native of Njalikonam, Thirumala, Trikannapuram, took her own life. Poojapura police arrested him under POCSO Act. Poojapura police said that he will be charged with abetment of suicide. The police registered a case on the complaint of the girl’s family.
