Alappuzha: A young man was found dead near a bar. Rajesh (46) died in ‘Karthika’, Tripperumthura, Chennithala. Rajesh’s death near a bar in Mavelikkara is suspected to be murder. The police got the CCTV footage of two men hitting Rajesh on the head.
Rajesh has injuries on his head. Rajesh was found dead this morning. The police said that Rajesh and three others went to the bar yesterday while drinking and got into a verbal argument and then the fight took place on the verandah of the bank opposite the bar. No one has been arrested in the incident yet.
Meanwhile, a panchavadya artist died in a bike accident in Kollam. Bijukumar (48) died at Anchal Alayaman Biju Bhawan. The accident happened in Kadakkal this morning. It was Biju who recited Panchavadyam at Kadaikal Shiva Temple.
The accident happened on the way to the temple. Bijukumar’s bike went out of control and ran under the bus. Bijukumar died on the spot.
