KPCC president K Sudhakaran has now been charged with conspiracy in the antiquities fraud case in which Monsan Mavunkal is accused, and the police charge sheet has made K Sudhakaran a co-accused. Apart from Sudhakaran, Monson Mawunkal and Ebin Abraham are also on the charge sheet of the crime branch. The crime branch has found that the complainants paid Rs 25 lakh to Monson Mavunkal and out of that Rs 10 lakh was handed over to Sudhakaran. In connection with this matter, Sudhakaran was called to the crime branch office in Kalamassery and questioned.

But Sudhakaran maintained that he had no role in this case. However, the crime branch rejected this and proceeded with the investigation. The charge sheet has been filed in the Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court.

The accused have been charged with criminal conspiracy, fraud and forgery. The crime branch filed a charge sheet. At the same time, reports had surfaced earlier that KPCC president K Sudhakaran tried to escape from the controversy related to the antiquities scam accused Monsan Mavungkal. That is, the information that has come out is that Sudhakaran tried to influence the complainant. Information has come out that the Youth Congress leader AB approached the complainants Shemeer and Anoop as Sudhakaran’s messenger and asked the complainants to withdraw the cases and keep Sudhakaran out of the controversy.

When the incident related to the case took place, Ebin told them that Ebin had reached the hotel where the complainants were staying and that KS had informed them not to testify against Sudhakaran and that he could do whatever he wanted. It is also reported that Ab has tried to influence the officer investigating the Monson accused POCSO case.

The news is that AB was Monson’s staff for two and a half years and it was on his advice that Sudhakaran approached Monson and AB is also the closest person to K Sudhakaran. K Sudhakaran’s name has been on the rise ever since Monson was arrested. But K Sudhakaran rejected all this. K Sudhakaran said in the press conference that he had contacted Monsan as a doctor for treatment and that he had no relationship with Monsan.

Sudhakaran said that he had seen valuable antiquities when he went to Monson’s house and that he had not stayed in Monson’s house and the allegations leveled against him were baseless. Sudhakaran had said in a press conference that day that if the document proving that Monson was involved in any matter related to Mavunkal is released, the public activity will be terminated. He will go to any extent against those who tried to implicate him in a false case by spreading lies. In the Monson controversy, Sudhakaran had said that legal action would be taken against the complainants who filed false cases.

Sudhakaran also alleged that the Left Ministers were related to Monson. At the same time, the Enforcement Directorate filed a case against Monson in the antiquities transaction related to the case. The police have registered a case against three people including former driver Aji. ED will investigate all the cases taken up by the crime branch, including black money in the antiquities deal. The ED has issued a letter to inform the complainants and clients that they will be interrogated. The Crime Branch had recommended action against IG Laxman in the Monson case.

According to the report submitted to the Chief Minister by the Crime Branch, there is a complaint that IG Lakshmanan helped some other people who committed financial fraud besides Monsan Maungkal. Last month, DGP Anil Kant also filed a report against IG Lakshmanan in the High Court. The DGP filed the affidavit on a petition filed by Ajith, the former driver of Monsan Mavungkal.
