Supreme Court lawyer Haris Biran is the Rajya Sabha candidate of the Muslim League

Supreme Court lawyer and Delhi KMCC president Harris Biran is the Rajya Sabha candidate of the Muslim League. Harris Biran was chosen as the candidate in the Muslim League leadership meeting held in Thiruvananthapuram. The Muslim League leadership announced this in a press conference.

Haris Biran is coordinating the legal struggles of the Muslim League, including the Citizenship Amendment Act. Muslim League leaders informed in a press conference that the party took the decision unanimously. PK Kunhalikutty informed that Harris Biran will submit nomination papers this evening. Harris Biran is the President of KMCC Delhi Unit.

Elections to 3 Rajya Sabha seats from Kerala will be held on 25th. According to the party status in the assembly, the UDF can win one. It was earlier agreed to give this seat to the league. 13 is the last date for submission of nomination papers.

The meeting was held in Thiruvananthapuram considering the convenience of the party MLAs to attend as the assembly session starts today. State president Panakkad Sadikhali Shihab Thangal, who was on a Gulf visit, reached Thiruvananthapuram in laste night.
