Election campaign will concludes tomorrow in the state. The ad campaign ends tomorrow. Fronts to secure vote in final polling. The verdict in the 20 Lok Sabha constituencies is crucial for the ruling LDF, the opposition UDF and the central-ruled NDA. Candidates will conduct their final constituencies today and tomorrow. National leaders are also camping in various places.

Along with Kerala, 88 constituencies from 13 states will go to the polling booth in the second phase of polling. Elections are going on in 14 constituencies of Karnataka and 13 constituencies of Rajasthan.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the UDF won 19 seats, the LDF defeated the NDA, and the NDA lost 38 days to vote and wait for the results to be announced on June 4. 194 candidates are contesting in 20 constituencies of the state. 25 of them are women. Males 169. Kottayam constituency has the highest number of candidates (14). Alathur has the least number of candidates (5). Kozhikode has 13 candidates, Kollam and Kannur have 12 candidates each. The total number of voters in the state is 2,77,49,159. 6,49,833 of them are new voters. There is an increase of 3,36,770 female voters and 3,13,005 male voters. There are 25231 polling booths (booths-25177 and sub-booths-54) in 20 constituencies of the state.

30,238 ballot units, 30238 control units and 32698 VVPAT machines are used in these places. Live monitoring system webcasting will be done in all booths in Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram districts. In the remaining six districts, 75 percent of the booths will have webcasting facility. All the affected booths in these districts will be under live surveillance.
