Prime Minister Narendra Modi will untie Malabar’s biggest traffic jam. The bottleneck of the National Highway in Mahe will now be remembered. When the national highway passing through Kerala reached Mahi, even 2 vehicles could not pass there and back.
Mahi Bypass will pass from Kannur Muzhapilangad through Mahi and reach Azhiyur in Kozhikode district. The Muzhapilangad-Mahi Bypass four-lane road will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi online on March 11. 35 km road is being opened in two projects.
Azhiyur-Muzhapilangad 18.6 km road and 16.5 km road from Mukola Junction on Kerala-Tamil Nadu border will be opened. Both the projects were completed at a cost of Rs 2769 crore.
Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadgari, Kerala Governor Arif Muhammad Khan, Puducherry Governor Dr. Sundararajan, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Pondicherry Chief Minister N. Rangaswamy, Speaker Adv.AN Shamseer, Union Ministers V. Muralidharan, Dr. VK Singh, Transport Minister PA Muhammad Riaz, Puducherry Minister K. Lakshmi Narayanan, etc. will participate in the inauguration ceremony.
