Mohan Charan Majhi will be the new Chief Minister of Odisha, to be sworn in on today

Bhubaneswar: BJP leader Mohan Charan Majhi will be the new Chief Minister of Odisha. The swearing in ison today. Both Deputy Chief Ministers will take oath. Deputy Chief Ministers are KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida.

The decision was taken at the BJP Legislative Party meeting held in Bhubaneswar. He won by 11,577 votes from Keonjhar constituency in Odisha. The 52-year-old Maji is a big influence in the tribal area.

The announcement came after discussions held by central observers Rajnath Singh and Bhupendra Yadav with senior leaders and new MPs and MLAs.

BJP came to power ending Naveen Patnaik’s rule of 24 years. Prime Minister Modi will reach Bhubaneswar at 2.30 pm on today. He will then proceed to the Raj Bhavan to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
