Actor Mohanlal reached the relief camp in Meppadi to comfort those affected by the landslide disaster in Wayanad. After reaching the army camp, Mohanlal, who is also a lieutenant colonel, went to the affected areas in military uniform. After visiting the affected people, Mohanlal returned to the disaster land of Mundakai.
Last day, Mohanlal had donated 25 lakh rupees to the Chief Minister’s relief fund. The emotional post shared by the actor on social media congratulating the rescue workers also got attention. “We salute the courage of the selfless volunteers, policemen, fire and rescue, NDRF, army soldiers and government officials who are working tirelessly to bring relief to the disaster victims of Wayanad.
Thanks also to the efforts of my 122 Infantry Battalion TA Madras who were at the forefront of the relief mission. We have faced challenges before and come out stronger. I pray that we stand together and show the strength of our unity during this difficult time. “Jai Hind” was Lal’s post.
