Nava Kerala Bus Resumes Operations: Service Restarts on Kozhikode–Bengaluru Route

The revamped Nava Kerala bus has returned to service, resuming its operations on the Kozhikode–Bengaluru route. The updated version now features 37 seats, an increase of 11 from the previous design.

Notable changes include the removal of the escalator and rear door, with the bus now having a single entry door at the front. The onboard restroom facility has been retained for passenger convenience.

Previously, the ticket fare for this service was ₹1,280, but during its relaunch journey from Bengaluru to Kozhikode, passengers were charged ₹930.

This luxurious Bharat Benz bus, purchased for ₹1.6 crore, was originally intended for the Chief Minister and ministers. It features a hydraulic lift at the front and automatic doors at the rear, along with a restroom, ensuring comfort and accessibility.
