Washington: Trump has officially announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the US. US President Donald Trump announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the White House in February for a meeting, in response to questions from reporters while returning from Florida.
“I spoke with him at length on Monday morning. He will be visiting the White House next month, probably in February. We have a very good relationship with India,” said Donald Trump.
Trump’s last foreign visit during his first term as president was to India. The two leaders addressed tens of thousands of people at the ‘Howdy Modi’ rally in Houston in September 2019 and the ‘Namaste Trump’ rally in Ahmedabad in February 2020.
